Billy Joel is awesome.

I remember, long ago, when my sister was going through a country phase, she watched a concert of his from New York. Billy Joel came out and played a couple of songs, and I'll never forget how good natured Brooks was about being overshadowed. "Man, Billy Joel comes out here and you guys just forget I exist." Billy Joel is one of the best songwriters ever, regardless of genre or time period.
The bones of beasts and the bones of kings become dust in the wake of the hymn.
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall, no more than a breath on the wind.

My oldest brother bought "Stormfront" at some point. I have no idea how much he liked it actually, but I widened the grooves on the record that you could drive through an oil tanker.

Love him.  Downeaster Alexa is one of his best.  Seen him live a bunch of times and he still puts on a spectacular show.

So many great songs that it's impossible to pick a favorite, but this one is usually right up there:

Oddly enough, Storm Front is actually one of my least favorite albums by him.  I love Downeaster Alexa and Leningrad, but other than those two I tend to lose interest quickly in the rest of the album.

Dookie was a pretty sweet album I guess.
I felt its length in quite a few places.
