Thanks for the kind words, you're obviously the voice of wisdom and it's a pleasure to have someone to talk about it.
I had several bars and pubs bands from 15 to 24 years old, that was my first tribute and I'm now 36.
I think several mistakes have been made and they are too stupid for this chat to happen with them.
The drummer waited with his classified searching for members, I met him in the end of 2015.
We worked loads of song every wednesday evening having loads of fun and I was getting home around 11pm.
Summer 2016 we meet a bassist and this guy became a friend, can play anything with some serious touch, while dancing like crazy.
Later on we get a keyboardist and average singer.
We redo the list of songs and work.
I grab the singer in town, forcing me to hurry after work and get home near 0h30, my mistake because he decided it was not possible for him to grab me because I am living farther on the road than him, Hello I'm uber.
I did this for a year and in june and july we had some live venues. I was happy because it was three loud outdoors venues with a good big crowd that appreciated the show, plus we got some money.
There we go downhill :
-we met a fantastic singer that auditionned with us, the drummer declined because the keyboardist threatened to leave if he stopped lead singing
-the bassist left the town so we got a new one that is weak technically
Summer comes and we stopped rehearsing
September I ask for a change of rehearsal times, we discuss the small possobilities and do it 3 times.
Until november the drummer asked me several time to go back to wednesday and fuck my life.
Then we rehearse with 6 new songs we all worked and we are rather happy.
The morning after I receive a mail from the drummer that kicks me because the fact I can't rehearse at night in weeks is driving him crazy and puts his family life in danger.
Then an epitaph on fb messenger, the two others don't bother to talk, and the day after I'm kicked everywhere.
On a side note, he updated his classified 10 days before the rehearsal so I'm not stupid, but the hypocrisis of making me work the songs for nothing and playing comedy is so weak of them.
I got the weekend after at the drummer's to get my stuff back, including my jamhub silent rehearsal, that he didn't miss to tell he was going to miss it and needed a solution to replace it.
I left this band as a prince, with a little money, good memories and no regret.
Without ego issue, I'll just add that I was the only current member with the technical level needed, and I which my future band will be stimulating for my playing quality and raise me up
