I got mine from the play Waiting For Godot. My high school friends were amused by the silly plot, and we developed several inside jokes related to it. I took the name and altered the spelling.

Dark Casle is one of my favorite bands, Stevie Floyd is a lass who inspires me and I have a crush on her as well, so I thought "HEY, it'd be a cool username, I like it, maybe others will"

And then with one of my firsts posts people thought I was just repping their newest album and thought I was the band themselves.

My name is George (my first name, despite every single person I know outside of work and save for a few certain family members calling me Barrett, my middle name, since birth; which is what I consider my 'real name' save for 'Kami-sama') and my grandfather called me Tio Jorge, or Uncle George, one night whilst we were having a big family dinner (I was about 5) after I walked into the dining room wearing my grandfather's fedora; apparently I looked like a mini gangster. He also called me Pequeno Diablito, or Little Devil many times as I caused a ruckus in his very tidy, very big house; I thought about that one but figured TioJorge was just easier and more evocative of my gangster ways. Mexican Cartel, by the bye. None of that Godfather bullshit.

Eh! Everybody here knows the Dream Theater songs. Becoming Constant Motion (the poster) would just have you drowning in a sea of it. Don't use words everyone's going to be typing anyway - rule one, that!

Not that I'm criticising your screenname! Fine name, I'm sure you'll do well with it. Just from my own point of view. Much easier, on a Dream Theater message board, for someone to go "Which one's ConstantMotion again?" than "Which one's ZombieFeverLICKMYBRAIN?" I already know the latter person. Constant Motion? Less distinctive. Unique names are more memorable.

It just sorta came to me. I've had it for like 7-8 years or so, I came up with it a long time ago when I was going to play Counter-Strike with a friend, and I needed a cool nick. So I sat down and thought for a few minutes and tried out different combinations, and eventually it just became "Zantera".
Now I'm getting questions every week regarding Tibia (I think Zantera is a Tibia server or something) which always makes me laugh since I've never played it.
