So, this Roguelike called Tales of Maj'Eyal is pissing me off. I don't understand how I just keep fucking dying. Like, there isn't a lot of help in the game to figure things out. And of, of course, with permadeath, you don't get a second chance.

Just preordered Baldurs Gate enhanced edition... BG series are my all time favorite games, it looks like this enhanced edition will just be a facelift but being able to play the game without installing thousands of mods (bgtutu, widescreen, fix packs...) will be great.

He'd never played it before, so I offered to let him try it. Also I'm planning on doing a blog article about BioShock in a couple of weeks so I wanted to bounce ideas off of him.

I reinstalled Baldur's Gate 2 and modded the crap out of it. Then I realized that I had made the game way too hard for someone that doesn't abuse cheese, so I had to uninstall Tactics. Then it turns out that Tactics doesn't properly clean up after itself and leaves a bunch of mob spawning traps that crash the game when you walk over them. So now I'm in the process of uninstalling the entire game and setting everything up again.

On a side note, remember when I put me going through the ENTIRE game of SMB3 on my webcam?  I want to do that again, only with The Legend of Zelda.  I haven't beaten that game yet, and I could use help from people who know the game inside and out.  It won't be until I get a new computer, and I'll use something like ooVoo (since skype can only have one person at a time) and have people tell me what to do.
