This thread is for anyone who wants to play. Last year Splent ran a normal league and one with IDP's, both draft format. I ran an auction draft league. I can't speak for Splent, but I am willing to run the auction league again, as auctions are fun.

Post in this thread if you are interested in one/any of the leagues, and we'll run from there.

I've always done IDP in my league, it's the same league. I personally enjoy that because it's an added element.

I'm down for the auction league again too.

I've renewed the keeper league. You have plenty of time to make your keeper choices - Aug 24th or 26th I think, and we can discuss auction draft times in the league chat. I nominally set the draft time as Sept. 4 as it is the last day it will allow me to pick.

Are we actively going to recruit more folks? Seeing we had what... 5 teams last year? Sure we could figure some way to let them get a keeper not on a roster.

We had 6 teams. If we get an even number of new people who want to play thats fine assuming yahoo lets me add teams. If it won't let me add, and people are cool with it, we can set up a league where all the players from last year get to keep a player from last years roster (by drafting them for $1), then new players can draft a player for $1. This option would require EVERYONE TO ATTEND THE DRAFT since the CPU would most certainly bid on those players being kept for $1. We would also require everyone to pay attention early on as well, and noone to troll it. All I ask is that they are active - thus the BTVT/El Barto invitational league.

It should let you add teams to the existing league. I don't know how it would work in an auction draft, but when that happens in a snake draft the existing teams all get their keepers in the first round and the new teams pick from what's left. This keeps happening for how many keepers are allowed and then it becomes a normal snake draft.

Splent hasn't renewed the one DTF league (the one I won) yet, but I'm sure he will. He's been pretty busy dealing with some things (very good things - I'll let him brag for himself), so it's likely that he hasn't gotten around to it.

For the auction draft league, I will add teams two at a time on a first come-first serve basis. Understand you are entering a keeper league, and there are going to be some players off the table to start. Also, I expect people to try to make the draft. It will probably have to be done somewhat late out east to accomodate the west coast people's work schedule. If you agree to these conditions PM me. For those who already requested, I'll hold your spot in line.

if you are taking about the keeper league auction league from last year, I want to renew that one, so put me down.

I'll try to get the draft posted today, but I just got a job teaching high school, and I have a lot of work to prepare for that. Once all the crazy paperwork/registering/waiting/setting up my room/etc.
