Cool, more chances of Metropolis making the DVD :D
Just curious are you at the concert or do you know someone there?

I know someone that was there  ;)

IIRC James said that the setlist was going to be the same every night in this tour, except for the shows in Buenos Aires.

Otherwise, yikes, cool set.

I wish they would switch War inside my head and Test with Through my words and Fatal tragedy for the DVD. And maybe play something instead The Spirit caries on, they did it on Score as well.

The rest of the set looks great, quite a long concert.  :hefdaddy

I think it was JP who said that they will be playing for 2:30-2:45 hours and that there will be no opening act for the SA tour so this leg of the tour is pretty much an Evening With.

It was one of the funnest songs they played when I saw them live a few years ago. Everyone got into it. I'd have absolutely no problem with it appearing on the upcoming DVD.

The video footage they use for it now is also very fitting and makes it fun.  Perfect combination of dark yet campy that suits the music to a tee.

Good sound, but the video is unwatchable.  I think I have motion sickness from just the first minute or so.

I didn't even try watching it  :lol  I mostly seek youtube videos to check James's vocal shape through the tour... which brings me to the point: I believe this performancs (vocally wise) is at least on par with Score, if not superior.

I love extended endings, especially in Metropolis! I would even add a little band jam before the last verse (à la 2006).
As for James, it's quite surprising to see such a strong performance so early in the leg. He usually needs about 2-3 shows to get into the groove and perform at his best. I hope he doesn't throw out his voice before the DVD shooting...

Looks like some of the lights are missing from when we saw them July 12 and 13. Maybe they didnt have time to set up the full stage because of the equipment being held up. Mangini is using the kit with the black only Pearl heads on the bass drums. Cant see them doing that on the nights of the dvd shoot.
