I love how older PoS reminds me of the GOOD Queensryche too.  Weird, but it's an association I made almost immediately.

I am only just starting to get into the older PoS stuff thanks to _floyd - I really was not impressed with any of the newer stuff that I've heard, and I've always been told that with PoS the older the better so...

Sure - I get parts of Erotomania embedded in my noggin HARDCORE from time to time.  That, and Cliff Burton's "almost" bass solo in the slowish part of Orion.

I usually wake up with a song stuck in my head, and a lot of the time, it's a song I haven't listened to in a long time.

Yesterday it was Moonsorrow - Tulimyrsky (both the first vocal part and the "chorus" part where they shout "TULIMYRSKY". And than the last "TULIMYRSKY" transitions into this awesome scream :metal )

Since I listened to Silent Waters by Amorphis about two hours ago, it's been The White Swan. Love that song.

Childish Gambino - Hero
And
Interpol - Obstacle 1

Both songs have been in my mind for days.
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

I had Astra - The Black Chord stuck in my head for two and a half weeks earlier this month. It was so good.
This is as exciting as superluminal neutrinos. The sexy thing is that this actually exists :D
