Songs stuck in your head
« on: July 04, 2012, 07:24:08 AM »
Inspired by Drew's Call Me Maybe thread: I often have songs stuck in my head that I can't stand, yet I often catch myself humming them, and I just can't get them out of my head. Does anyone have this problem too? If so, with what song?

For me, it's:

- Friday (Rebecca Black)
- Der Himmel Brennt (Wolfgang Petry)
- Sexy and I Know It (LMFAO)
scorpion is my favorite deathcore lobster
Hey, the length is fine :azn: Thanks!

Sure, right now is okay too, but I was actually talking about songs that are on my mind for longer periods of time, even after not listening to them. That's what's happening to me with the ones that I mentioned, at least.

Currently nothing, but the other day it was Friday because I watched a Star Wars parody of it.

Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe?

There are probably more, but none that comes to mind.

Ministry - Lava

I've been singing this since yesterday. But I don't mind it, because it's so good.

I erase the unhoped catchy songs from my head with Eppu Normaali's Kuka ön Pertti Ström.

Ever since I got into Faith No More a few months ago, "Midlife Crisis" and particularly it's chorus has been stuck in my head. It's just such a catchy tune, and I used to love it when I heard it on the radio when I was a kid, but I never knew what band it was. Then when getting into Faith No More, I was like: "hey, this is THAT song!" and just started loving it. But yeah, it's ridiculously catchy.

Two days ago and yesterday Stigmata. Damn Al, why your songs are so catchy?

I just discovered them yesterday, and had to buy When We Were Younger. Great song, but I'm yet to check out the rest of their material. Looking forward to it  :tup

Maino - All The Above

I generally don't like rap but this is amazing.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

Def Leppard's "Miss You in a Heartbeat". Fuck. I like DL but of all the songs they have written, the one that had to stick in my head is the corniest and cheesiest one they've ever written. Or at least before they made X.

Pretty much all of friday I had this one section of Black Sabbath's Heaven And Hell stuck in my head, but I couldn't remember what it was (as it wasn't one of the verses and I couldn't tell who was singing), but it took an entire day to shift.
