Boy, that's gonna leave a mess.

I take Cheers for TV, and (clearly) Team America for movies.  But I'll also take Pulp Fiction.

Craft beer for me :hat

Perhaps, but money is my only reason for not being able to more aggressively get into it. I've tried at least 600 different kinds in my life without ever going to a beer festival since I just can't enjoy a beer < 2 oz. at a time out of a disposable shot glass while it's barely cool in temperature. I also have about 500 different bottles in my collection. They're empty because I drank them.

The X-Files

I'm not really prepared to argue with you, because you probably ARE a bigger fan than I am, but I do have every season on DVD and love the series.  So, if nothing else, good tastes.   :tup

I have all the TV DVDs and movies, and love the show, but really don't have anything above that, so we're probably about equal. Just didn't know if there were any other really big fans on here.

Well, actually, you probably do win, because I don't have all the movies.
Sincerely,
Jaffa

That may be true. Still, as I type this, I'm getting ready to log my 526th review on Beer Advocate. Taking into account all the beers I've tried and not been able to/in the mood to review, or I only tried them before I began reviewing. I'd put the total #up around 8-900, not counting beers I've sampled only at festivals (I've worked every session of every Beer Advocate festival since 2010). Friday I'll be brewing my 8th batch of homebrew this year, and as of Monday I had a stash of 271 bottles of beer tucked away for aging in my cellar.

Gonna have to challenge you on these two, sorry.  The movie can be bandied about, but not the actual ship - I have an extensive library on Titanic (and shipwrecks in general) for starters.

This might be a bit of a long list. I have a lot of quirky hobbies. Though, the thing with my hobbies is, I don't really have any casual hobbies. Anything I get into, I have to fully immerse myself in the history, obtain everything related to it (if applicable), and generally let it consume my life. For example, I got into Persona 3 a few months ago, and now I'm on an epic quest to play every Shin Megami Tensei game in the franchise (though I won't dare to contest Genowyn for that title). Anyway, here goes.

Fapping: Seriously. Don't even try.

Pinball: I fucking adore the shit out of pinball. It's the best form of entertainment in the entire universe. I don't actually own any tables, but I'd seriously never get any work done if I had one. The level of intimacy, strategy, and skill involved in pinball is something nothing else can fully capture.

Floater (the band): I have no idea why people don't know about/like these guys. They're pretty much a grungier version of Rush. Catchy hooks, awesome riffs, slick bass grooves, and tribal drums. They even bust out some ambient shit from time to time. Everything they put out has kicked immeasurable amounts of ass, and you're doing yourself a major disservice if you don't listen to them.

Devin Townsend: I'll share this one with Lat, maybe, as long as he promises to only wear the crown 3 days a week.

Rock Band/Guitar Hero: I still play them. I still buy new songs for them. Super awesome fun time.

George Carlin: The avatar knows all.

Friends: I've seen every episode numerous times. I could probably tell you what episode, which season, and episode number from watching about 25 seconds of one. It was a downright unhealthy obsession for about 3 years.

Buckethead: Again with the sharing with Lat. He can have this crown for 4 days though.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

that's cool.  Do you happen to play any video pinball (Pinball FX2 or any of the Hall of Fame games on Xbox or playstation)?  I am freaking addicted to FX2 right now.

I claim Sprite, don't even try to challenge.

If you, like, know all of the ingredients and have sampled every version of it ever, then I don't challenge.  If we're just going by who likes the taste better, then I challenge.  Every time I go out to dinner, I unfailingly drink three to four glasses of Sprite, because that's the only time I let myself drink Sprite anymore due to the fact that I used to drink a minimum of five cans a day, until I decided to cut myself off and lose 70 pounds.

I miss Sprite like amputees miss their lost limbs.

Also, there are three restaurants where the waiters and waitresses don't ask me what I want to drink.  They just bring me Sprite.  Usually with lemon and lime slices.  And usually they bring me a refill when they come to see if I'm ready to order, because usually I need a refill by then.
Sincerely,
Jaffa

Ah.  That'd be checkmate, then.  I'd still challenge that for you, Sprite was merely a replacement for an addiction that you overcame, while for me, Sprite WAS the addiction I overcame.  But I realize that's not an argument I can win.  :lol Carry on.

Jaffa, are you a fan of jaffa cakes?

Well shit guys... The only thing I have ever been able to say that I am the biggest fan of (band or otherwise) is Dream Theater...

So...

I got nothin... Maybe Gordon Ramsey('s shows)
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I don't know, man.  Given that this is GD and not DT-side, I think you might be able to get away with saying Dream Theater without too many people challenging.
