Y'know, I'd never seen that before. Must be hard to not only tolerate but even play along with self-deprecating humor. Much respect.

God, I love Andy Samberg.  :lol

I never liked Nicholas Cage that much, but my respect for him has risen quite a bit during seeing this clip. Being able to make fun of yourself is a huge plus in my book.

Nic Cage is the best actor.
I only listen to electro-post dubprog.  You've probably never heard of it.

Nic Cage is the best actor.
Only if your comparing him to Keanu Reeves.

The only thing I enjoyed Keanu Reeves in was The Matrix. I felt he clicked with that role. In any other movie, ehh.

Did you see Constantine? He's really cool in that too, imho.

He's got some very solid stuff. He's also got some laughably bad stuff. Mixed bag.

I really think he's been a victim of some pretty bad casting a few times which did not help.   I actually think "Valley Girl" and "Matchstick Men" are his two shining moments.

I don't really see any of the good qualities of Nic others do. I have yet to see an actor less tolerable than him.

Nicholas Cage is, literally, one of my least favourite people EVER. And I have VERY good reason to believe so.

Yeah, Keanu's so goddamn worthless as an actor. The only role I've ever seen him fit was in Bill and Ted.

Upon searching for examples, I discovered this:

The thing about Nick Cage is that he is a pretty good actor in his own right, but he does a lot of crappy moves, and on top of that he has a tendency to just sort of play himself regardless of whether or not it is appropriate to the character.  But when he fits a role, he is pretty damn good at it.  Look at Kick Ass; who else could shoot a child at point blank range and make it funny?
