Watched Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley last night. Pacman put on a clinic. He dominated the fight. He may have given away the last 2 rounds just being cautious. Then came the decision.
It was a split decision for Bradley. It was the most ridiculous scoring for any bout I have ever watched. Their is no way any judge could see it for Bradley unless the fix was in. What a joke.

A friggin joke. Manny had that fight. There will be a rematch and the promoter will make a shitload of money. he has already publically stated it. So a rematch will happen in October/Novemember. Manny will win, the he will fight asshole Mayweather for the biggest payday in boxing history.

At least with wrestling, you know what you are getting.

With boxing, you think you are getting a legit fight, and then the result is fixed.

I'm starting to agree. I watched the fight online last night and it was 1:30 am when it ended. I almost turned off the computer after the 12th round thinking why bother to wait to hear the decision since it was a forgone conclusion as far as I was concerned. I stayed on and heard the results. When one of the first 2 judges had it for Bradley I was shocked. Then the 3rd judge scored for Bradley. I was stunned. The fight wasn't even a little bit close. Manny won the first 10 rounds easily.
I feel bad for people who paid like 60 bucks to watch that sham.

I never understood the allure tbh. I can see it needs skill and endurance, but to me it's buried too deep beneath the plain fact that two guys are beating each other up.

Manny won hands down.Npt even close. Even his opponent said he lost the fight before the decision. Its bullshit. Just another way for a rematch.Manny wins, then gets the payday against Mayweather after he gets out of jail. It has become a farce.

Although I didn't see the whole fight, I'm inclined to agree with you, and this seems to be the general consensus among people I've talked to. Also, I read that only ONE press guy ringside had Bradley winning in his analysis. That's telling.

I haven't seen the fight, but all the press scorecards had Manny in front, either 115-113 or 116-112.

Now I want to see the fight just to see if it is as much of a screwjob as Hagler-Leonard was, because Hagler was beaten and raped on that decision.

This is no surprise. I've seen this result so many times that I've become numb to it. It's like the judges, (who should now so much more than us) Get it this wring so many times in big bouts that we can't help but think it's fixed.

Man my two Philipino cooks were fucking pissed. One of them is in a motorcycle gang, a real one, Hell's Angels affiliated and everything. I mentioned to him that last night drunk Philipinos were starting fights everywhere, his response was a dead pan "yeah, and I was one of them", really no surprise with him but still funny as hell.
