We are currently investigating the leak of some Last.fm user passwords. This follows recent password leaks on other sites, as well as information posted online. As a precautionary measure, we're asking all our users to change their passwords immediately.

I haven't bothered with Last.fm since I got a new computer in september.  I'll change it just in case.

Thanks Sigz. Now my last.fm software is bitching though, it doesn't accept my new password. No idea what the problem is here. 

Anyone got an idea?

Try restarting it/your computer, or just give it time. Last.fm's servers are notoriously wonky.
