So this is pretty obnoxious. It's funny how everyone around him is about to fall asleep.

I don't think anyone knows.

Wow.  That dude was pissed.   :rollin

And it sure did seem that nobody around him thought any of it was unusual.  A couple of them applauded.  The impression I got was that those on his side of the aisle were 100% resigned to their fate, but were amused that at least Mike was letting 'em have it.

edit: and what he's so irate about was that they moved forward with a vote before anybody had a chance to read the bill.  Pretty shitty thing to do, but commonplace, honestly.  And this certainly isn't the sleaziest example of that tactic.

Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.

That little sentence says so much about our government.

Like a Bost.

Well sometimes you lose fair and square, and sometimes they don't let you play the game.  I gather in this case it was the latter and they're right to feel dejected.  As for Mike there, I certainly appreciate somebody who cares enough to get pissed off about it.  The ones that'll get angry are the ones that we should probably be voting for.  However, this dude completely lost his composure.  I want controlled rage, not a Fukushima style meltdown.  And if you are going to completely loose your mind and run amok, you've got some pretty big shoes to fill to really pull it off well.
