Our church got a new grand piano, and two weeks later our praise band was asked to play the Gathering Music.  They told me to pick the songs, and I've always wanted to play "Morning Has Broken" (the Cat Stevens version with the Rick Wakeman piano breaks) on a grand, plus it's actually a hymn, so win-win.

Here is a horrible-quality video of our praise band leading the congregation in "Morning Has Broken" with me on the grand.

I don't know much about drumming, but that certainly seems like a really hard song to tackle and from my amateur perspective you did a fantastic job with it

I have 2 recordings up on YouTube so far, no video of me playing yet but one has a great slideshow! They are worth viewing though just because the audio is really high quality (that's what is important right???). Here goes:

I dug out a wah pedal and messed around with a guitar solo for a song I've been working on.  Maybe a bit over the appropriate level of wankery and more than a bit over the appropriate level of wah-ing, but it was fun to do.  Lots of legato licks in here.

Does anyone here know Mr. Fastfinger's site https://www.guitarshredshow.com? It's by the same guy that created the DT cartoon animations. A very cool website for guitarists. I was using Mr. Fastfinger's "Lesson in 7 modes" (aeolian mode) as background music for my improvisation practice. While I was sitting here, letting my mind fly, suddenly something strange happened...

I like it! I think it could sound even cooler if the lead sound had more reverb on it, because the current sound is a bit too dry for the airy composition. Apart from that, it rocks  :metal
