about an hour in the car each day, about an hour at work on average, about two hours during dinner and after watching a show with the wife.  Somewhere between 4 and 5 hours each day.

Easily more than 6.5. iTunes goes on at about 7:3am0, and stops for some work calls etc... But goes otherwise until 5pm.  Then any workout or dog walking in the evening will invariably add at least an hour.  Then there's WPAPU on Wednesdays.

Dude, on average, about 6 hours. Dead serious. I have a glorious, musical life. hahaha.

I probably get 3-5 on work days, mostly during my commute time on the train and when I'm winding down at the end of the night. On days off I can pack in a good 6-9. Now if I could listen to tunes in the kitchen it would be a whole different story, but alas, not everything comes up lonestar.

I'm currently working a job fixing family photos with APS, so I sit there the whole night with my headphones plugged into my ipod. The only time it gets turned off is if we are having a meeting or I go to break. Then the radio is usually on while I'm driving to/from work(about 20 minute drive each way). Then, when I get home I usually listen to music after I watch the daily show and colbert report. I'd say that I get around 10-12 hours a day of music listening in during the week days. I've been using the opportunity to try and get into some music that I've been meaning to check out for several years. Porcupine Tree is the band that I'm trying to spend a lot of time on lately.

These days, I would say I go through about 4 or 5 albums on average. I'm currently between jobs right now, so I can pretty much spend the entire day in front of the computer listening to music if I want. I do try to balance things out though.

I usually listen to 3 albums a day + between half an hour and a whole hour of individual songs or parts of albums.

I get to listen to music most of the day when I'm in my office or in the research lab, so I went with 6.5+ hours.  Even if I only get about 5 in at work, I'll get another 2 in at home.

This is too hard to answer. Some days I listen to several hours worth, some days almost nothing. I am having trouble guessing what my average would be on a daily basis.

While I'm at work, about 5.5 to 6.5 hours - sometimes to drown out all of the loud igdits who gather by my cube while I'm trying to work.
 
That total could either go up or down, depending on my weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) listening habits.
