Talking Heads v. More Posts About Food And Buildings
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:57:20 AM »
How is there not a thread for these guys and girl?  I thought there were, like, that one punk/new wave band that prog fans actually like.   :P

Anyhow, I've their first one and Remain In Light and rather enjoy both, the latter being one of my favorite jams, as of late.

Remain in Light is awesome, and Fear of Music is almost as good.  The David Byrne show my brother and I went to a few years back was one of the most enjoyable concerts I had been to in years.  His solo album from the year, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, is terrific; any fan of Talking Heads should own it. :)

I wish someone could officially release a full concert of the band with Adrian Belew in the lineup.  Maybe a DVD version of that show they did for Italian TV that's been bouncing around the net with better audio would be fantastic.

It's Buildings and Food.

Yes.

The Talking Heads are awesome. Prefer everything from before 1985 though.
