Yeah I know you haha, you're one of the first people I talked to (as you are the second time around!). I don't think that's sad

I thought I introduced myself here. Oops.

Been a Dream Theater fan for I think 12 or 13 years. Glad to finally be on the boards here. I turn 26 next month, I'm male, and play piano and guitar. I like video games and metal concerts. Nice to meet you all. :)

Welcome, thoroughly curious and intriguing name.

I like Mega Man Legends (although I only played it as Mega Man 64)

Prog Snob

I only played it on regular Nintendo and SNES. I miss those games.

Serah Farron

Hello. I have been a Dream Theater fan since I was 15 years old thanks to some friends I am extremely lucky to have.

And if my name rings a bell, yes, this is my actual name. My dad and mom loves to play games and they grew up with Final Fantasy and my dad's last name is Farron so they wanted to name me after my namesake, Serah Farron, Lightning's younger sister.

Anyways, I love to play video games and watch anime and listen to Dream Theater and I really love writing and reading. I always have a book around with me in case I get bored...

Thank you!

Currently, I have my hands "A Game of Thrones." A really solid book.

Prog Snob

Brilliant books. I've read them all twice already. He's one of my Top 5 writers.

Hyperplex

I dont read nearly as much as I should or want to. I need to fix that.

Prog Snob

I'm going to attempt to tackle Clarissa. It has the distinction of being the longest book written in the English language, coming it at just under one million words.

Wow, I hope the book really explains it all.

Klaus Bergmaier

Hi! I'm Klaus from Austria, born in 1971, a DT fan since around 1995.
I play piano and keyboards for a living. My maybe most interesting outfit for you might be www.thedoors.at (page is in German and English) but I also play jazz and accompany various singers and stuff. Those who are capable of German can see everything I do at www.bergmaier.at
It's great to be here, thanks for letting me join and have a nice weekend!

Hello. So glad to see you, my friends!

My name Bram, I'm from Indonesia.
I'm 21 years old male. Loving DT since 2010. I play bass and drum. But i'm not too talented.

Before I start, I want to ask. Is there any literature about SDOIT that you know? Some kinds of journal, thesis, or something scientific that research SDOIT's lyric. I need that thing. I'm going to write an undergraduate thesis about SDOIT lyric.

Thanks!

Hi Bram, welcome to the forum(s). I'm not aware of any thesis or written description of 6 Degrees, other then the official biography, 'Lifting Shadows' written by mr. Rich(ard) Wilson. It comes in a variety of hardcover editions and paperback.

I'll add a link here:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lifting-Shadows-Authorized-Biography-Theater/dp/1906615586

and the website is here:

Hi everyone. Nice to be here. I spent a lot of time lurking here back when MP was leaving DT, so it's nice to see there are a lot of familiar names still around.

Going to see DT in a few days and could not be more excited!

Prog Snob

So, is this her latest incursion or is this legitimately someone new?

Hmm. Unless you're remembering my participation in the MP departure hysteria, which I doubt as I rarely posted, it's not me you're thinking of. I stopped coming to DTF while I was still at uni, which was (far too many) years ago.

Am I really reeking of troll?  :-\

That's what a girl likes to hear. :lol

What made you think I was a troll?
