I'm new here, but I've been reading this forum for a while. Been listening to DT since a little before SFAM came out. I used to read DT.net back in the day a well and I think I made an account there as some point (but only posted a hand full of times).

Hi my name is Jonathan and I've been lurking for about a month. Live in Utah, USA. I'm 20 years old. I first got into DT at about age 15 by playing rock band. At that age I was just into mainstream stuff and alternative rock (late bloomer I know). But I loved the song Panic Attack, though I never looked for anything else by them. Then I made a new friend when I was 16 and one day he showed me Metropolis Part 1. My first thought was: "This guy sings too high, I don't like it". But he told me to keep listening to them, they would grow on me. I finally decided to buy I&W just for fun. I still remember the first day they "clicked". By that time I was getting into heavier rock. So I was mowing the lawn and listening to Pull Me Under for the 10th time, when it got to the chorus... BAM!! Huge chills down my spine. Same thing happened with Metropolis. I knew then I was hooked, so I bought 8VM next, then SC, Six Degrees, BC&SL, Awake, TOT, ACOS, SFAM, and ADTOE was the first one I was waiting for (which turned out to be in my top 3), and got into each one of them before buying the next. Truly changed my musical life.

Anyway, eagerly anticipating D12. These are some of the other bands I love: Animals as Leaders (Love em as much as DT, wow these guys are amazing!!), 10 Years, A7X, Mars Volta, Periphery, Chevelle, Tesseract, Scale the Summit, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, feel free to recommend me bands!

No, the suicide was for the sheer amount of time I've been on here, most likely unhealthy. I just sent in an application yesterday lol

Im new here, but i feel like i know every single one of you.. I´ve been lurking since this forum started, and had a profile going here for a year or so. I never really posted, and ended up forgetting my password. Since then, i´ve changed my e-mail and everything (my old hotmail account is lost somewhere in cyberspace), so i decided to create a new profile and start up again with some posting!
Im a 26 year old Norwegian guy (my English isn´t perfect, so bare with me). I was registered as St_Lucifer on the old DT.net-forum, and was moderately active over there. I hanged around on both DTF and 5/8 for a while, but for the last couple of years this has been the place i´ve been coming to for new DT-related info, and threads about my other favorite bands (Rush, Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Spocks Beard to name a few).
