It is. The Sky guitar. Forgot to say, just called him "the master".

Also played by the guy from Fair Warning and Dreamtide, Helge Engelke.

Jaco Pastorius and his "Bass of Doom"

You can read about it here, but it is essentially a fretted Fender Jazz that was modded into a fretless with the use of marine epoxy.

Winger would be better!

Now I want a guitar shaped like Germany (with an 80s option where you take away East Germany).

Looks like the one played by Uli Jon Roth:

looks like the one Yngwie has in his collection. lol. I like how he just kinda tosses it back as it slides off the wall and hits the floor.

Some of these guitars make me wish I didn't play drums.  Awesome looking equipment in this thread.

:tup for any of Vai's signature Ibanez guitars.  I'll throw in some of Dave Meniketti's because they are awesome.

Not a "signature" model, but Dave's '68 Les Paul gold top is absolutely iconic in the way EVH's Frankenstrat is to Eddie.  As you can see from the pics, this guitar has seen some serious playing.

Dave's signature LP-style Biceglia:

I remember when the prototype was being built:

And, finally, not Dave's personal signature model, but he loves this gorgeous Bonnie Raitt signature strat.  I'm not a stratocaster fan, but it is a very nice (and nice sounding) guitar:

just noticed Bootsy has 5 single-coil pickups in the pic I posted.  Never seen that before.

The pic Reaper posted only has two from what I can tell.  And the bridge configuration is different.

I really like Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's signature Ibanez. Nothing fancy, but man can he play that thing.

Also Syn's White and Gold signature Schecter. It's pretty pimp.
