Adding some 2024 songs I've enjoyed so far (that haven't been mentioned yet):

Madder Mortem - "Unity"
Transit Method - "Nightmare Machines"
Lordy Dying - "Dancing on the Emptiness"
Chelsea Wolfe - "Tunnel of Light"
Mega Colossus - "Fortune and Glory"
Illumishade - "HYMN"
Noor - "Mother's Guilty Pleasure"
Judas Priest - "Crown of Horns"
Dissimulator - "Neural Hack"
Big Big Train - "Miramare"
Borknagar - "Summits"
Christopher Sawyer - "Together Nowhere, Alone Elsewhere"
Chapel of Disease - "A Death Through Loss"
Ecclesia - "If She Floats"
Counting Hours - "No Closure" (although Litho's pick, "A Mercy Fall", might be my favorite as well)

Posted earlier but with only a few albums, I realised I have much more albums I like from this year.

Spectral Voice - Sparagmos
Slimelord - Chitridiomycosis Relinquished
Civerous - Maze Envy
Chelsea Wolfe - She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She
The Smile - Wall of Eyes
Judas Priest - Invincible Shield
Dissimulator - Lower Form Resistance
Job for a Cowboy - Moon Healer

It’s only April. There are years where I struggle to make a top 10 at the end of the year.
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .

My favorite songs from 2024 are pretty much the whole new album from Cory Wells (favorite song: Hopeless). This album is pretty much like a whole album of métal ballads which is kind of an album I always dreamt of finding.

My Own way by Happy Dwarf is a great song.

Also, few artists with great release in some kind of order but also not really because I need to listen more:

1- Cory Wells (just listen to it.)

- acloudyskye (Lovely shoegaze)
- her last sight (refreshing metalcore)
- eternal Storm (prog melodeath; it takes a lot of Time to work but when it does, it really works well)
- witherfall (its only part of the new album but witherfalls always deliver great trash métal à la Iced earth)
- darkest hour (great trashy melodeath, effective mélodies)
- hand of kalliach (i always love man/woman melodeath duos)
- counting hours (catchy doom)
- arklight
- Axel Florent (one of my fav folk artist)
- borknagar
- fall of léviathan
-whitelands
- everything everything
- Dark oath
- monkey3
- calligulas horse
- the pineapple thief
- artificial language
- afterglow
- drifting in silence
- hamferd
- syncatto

I thought this was a joke. One of my favorite pop punk band from high school with a great soft post rock band, sound weird but ill definetly take a listen.

Yea, honestly no idea how this collaboration came about, but I really enjoy it.
