Saw Mill Explosion in Prince George BC

Hey guys, I'm from a small town in Northern British Columbia called Prince George. We took a huge hit today. There was a gigantic explosion at one of our sawmills. This is a huge hit to our community due to the fact forestry is a huge part of what keeps this town going Many are injured quite severely and things could still quite escalate. flames have reached heights of 100 feet in the air. If you guys could send your prayers to us up here in the north that would be much appreciated. I know this isn't a international tragedy but for us this is huge, so please pray for our town that would be much appreciated

My dad lives on the island.......and he actually mapped alot of the logging areas up there on the mainland  for Macblo (mcmillan blowdell)

Glad you're safe Cullen.  People are remarkably resiliant, there will be a return to normal at some point.

So too update everyone. Everyone was present and accounted for last night, the last person was found about 3 hours after it started. I do believe there are 5 people in hospital in very serious condition, 7 with a serious wounds and many others with minor burns. Unfortunately someone succumb to their wounds today and passed away and by the sounds of it their is another one clinging to life.

It's a very sad time for all of Northern British Columbia. Lets just hope everyone affected by such a horrible disaster can get through this experience.
