The BOA Pavillion in Boston actually hands them out. We sat in the front row in '09 with one of the giant speakers on the floor right in front of us. The Lovely Mrs. TAC asked for them at the booth, and they handed a pair to her.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Btw, a couple used a silver ticket from the black clouds set to get in to the meet and greet. I though they weren't good anymore, but apparantly not.

If you don't find earplugs just get some cotton wool to stuff into your ear. If you make sure that both ears have equally big self-made earplugs so that the sound isn't louder on one side. Compared to cheap, not reusable earplugs cotton wool actually takes less higher frequencies away, which results in better overall sound. (Otherwise the bass and the drums are all you hear if the mix isn't top notch).
When you've got time and money order some earplugs via the internet. Decent ones you can reuse will only cost you about 20 - 30$ and they hold for a few years if you take care of them. You can also go to a local shop that sells "high-end" earplugs, which don't take away the high frequencies at all and just make it quieter, without changing the sound (or at least not badly). However, those will cost you 200 $ if you get lucky and probably more.

  That's awesome.  I'm seeing them later in the tour.  I'll make sure to bring it up too.  Really, really cool.  I'm really glad that shirt went to someone who could use it to connect with the band.  So in retrospect, that shirt went from JP to me, from me to you, from you briefly back to JP for him to sign it halfway across the country, and then back to you.  The Internet is truly an amazing thing.  :lol

EDIT:  So get to brag to everyone:  "Hey, JP touched my shirt twice in two different states!"  :lol

Solid and gas, I think.  If I remember correctly, they served chili at the after show.

Awesome show! Security was super lax so I could walk right up and take a photo by them. I shook hands at the end with Myung and Mangini. Best concert of my life!

No rotation though :(

Tonight's Crimson setlist was....

Epic Drum Duel
Some improvy stuff
Dinosaur
Elephant Talk
Red
Frame By Frame
Thela Hun Ginjeet
Some song I hadn't heard before. One of the lines was "I REPEAT MYSELF WHEN I'M DISTRESSED I REPEAT MYSELF WHEN I'M DISTRESSED" or something like that. I lol'd.

The show was pretty badass. The crowd kind of sucked ass though. People in the front row sitting down. lolwut
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

No problem. Which was your seat number? I was in seat 6.

Anyhow, even with the lack of set rotation, I'm totally stoked about seeing them again tomorrow.

It's "I repeat myself when under stress".  The song is Indiscipline, and I'm glad to hear that CP is playing that one. :metal

Ok, six photos for you guys. Security was ridiculously weird. They were stopping people left and right for recording video, but they said pictures were okay. Let me tell you how awesome this was, because they didn't even care if you walked right up to the stage (as long as you weren't recording video)!

I love the Jordan one.

Awesome pictures, Shadow. My Dad took about a hundred billion pictures, so I'll be sure to get some up here when he transfers them off his phone.

The Crimson band was Tony Levin (got a picture with him between sets), Adrian Belew, Julie Slick (from Adrian's solo band), and two drummers I didn't recognize. Tony was very animated and fun to watch.

Asked about his decision to leave Dream Theater to go to a more popular band located in Miami, which would go on to receive a Grammy:

Man, I haven't been keeping up. I didn't realize CP was a (partial) King Crimson band. I wish so much that they could have opened the European tour instead of who ever it was that we saw (can't even remember their name).

With Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, and Pat Mastelotto (on drums) it's half of the classic "double trio" line up (the other half was Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, and Trey Gunn) which was dominant at least when I saw them last which was back in the early 90's before I moved from the States (not sure how many years they continued with that line up).

I am most definitely jealous I can't see two of my favorite bands/partial bands of all time together ;). Glad you enjoyed the show!

Thanks! That's a pretty tasty setlist. That's 4 songs from "Discipline," one of my favorite KC albums. :metal

The only song that I haven't heard is "Dinosaur" but other than that, looks great!

A few thoughts about this show:

The venue was awesome. Outdoor show + canopy + breeze from the river and lake = very comfortable show.
The sound was much better than the Columbus show (mostly due to the fact the Columbus show was indoors).
I was able to appreciate the light show a lot more than the Columbus show.
And Mangini added a little drum intro to the beginning of A Fortune In Lies on top of the original DUN-DUN-DUN.

What do you think of the light show on this leg? It seems to change from show to show and leg to leg. This one seems a bit downsized compared to the first NA leg. I just wanted to hear what someone had to say before my show on Wednesday. The lights have changed on this tour compared to last leg. As shown below
