New music video for "Cirice" - A fun watch lol.

"Cirice"

I have a feeling that if Dario Argento ever directed a music video it would be similar to this.
Zagreus waits at the end of the world,
For Zagreus is the end of the world.
His time is the end of time,
And his moment time's undoing

The band debuted another new song at Sweden Rock Festival last night, - "Majesty"

Edit: I guess they played this one before live, but the quality is great for being recorded in the crowd.  :lol

I like the feel this song has. Especially that middle Yes/ELP/70s Prog part. It feels very grand in nature and seems to fit perfectly as the penultimate song.

I wasn't a huge fan of the band earlier, but based on all the songs I've heard so far, I think this album is going to be awesome.

Majesty, Cirice & From the Pinnacle to the Pit have all been great. I love the different production as well.  :metal

Anyone else think the mix seems different each song? That one sounded a bit weaker than the others? Nonetheless, great track. The verses give me an ABBA feel--which isn't surprising since they love them

Also here is a track by track review. Sounds like this will be their defining album.

Interesting review there. No intro track this time around, but two short instrumentals/interludes ("Spφksonat" and "Devil Church").

The Summoning Part 2. Looks like Ghost will be doing store signings and unplugged shows later this month in some cities. Also a snippet of I'm guessing Mummy Dust

Okay, so this album is great. I hold Infestissumam and the debut pretty high, so Meliora has a long road ahead. I think after a few listens it will be on par or better.

I kind of see where that Metal Injection review got the Dream Theater vibe from the keyboard in Mummy Dust--it does sound like Rudess  :lol

I really am loving He Is though--such a great tune.

I've given the album a few listens and I'm really enjoying it, but I don't know if I can put it above Infestissumam yet. It will most likely one day, but right now I can't. I like almost every single track, but I feel like some of them end a bit too abruptly--Deus In Absentia is all of a sudden over and the choir takes over. I'll grow to like it, but it's just kind of over.

I do have the Mummy Dust chorus stuck in my head (In God You Trust/My Mummy Dust)

Somehow I missed this despite being on the lookout for it every other hour. Finally listening. Spirit is a lovely opener.  :metal I have extremely high hopes for this considering the quality of the tracks released so far. I think I've enjoyed everything released so far more than anything on their prior two outings.

More stream-of-consciousness thoughts: That fucking bass intro to Pinnacle is so...beefy. Even better with solid headphones. Damn. Cirice is still one of the best songs I've ever heard. Can't wait to hear that one live. He Is has to be the most church-like piece they've done, but not in a lame, overly tonal way. It's fucking dark. Sick. Personally, I think this utterly destroys Infestessumam, which I also thought completely destroyed Opus Eponymous. If we can look forward to this steady increase of quality throughout their career, this could be a downright legendary band we're watching grow up. Alright, time for Deus in Absentia. So stoked. It's very...bombastic. Almost Queen-like. Typical of the quality of Ghost album closers. This album fucking kills.
