Depends. I either:

A. Go home, sit down by my computer, turn on some tunes (usually specific albums or just shufle) and enjoy the company of the internet. Hence, what I am doing tonight.

B. Call up some friends and go chill at someone else's house. Watch a movie, play some pool, etc. Good times all around.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

Well, the thing is that public speaking doesn't normally phase me, I've spoken to bigger and more important audiences before - on basically the same material - and today just had me frazzled for whatever reason.  Early bed and Flying Colors time.

My #1 rule in life ...  No matter what you do, unless you die, life goes on.

May seem kinda hokey, but it boils down to the fact that we can't change the past, and by mulling/stewing over it, we impair our ability to learn from mistakes so as to not repeat them.

Oh, and shooter PS3 games does it for me, with some good prog-metal in the background
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Seeing my wife and daughter usually relieves stress immediately, unless I have had a really bad day. After I converse with my wife a bit and have dinner, I'm usually pretty good. Then I will either read, watch TV, or listen to music. Life is stressful so you need to find your places of solace so you don't lose your mind. When I was younger nothing bothered me but the older I get the more stress I seem to feel on a daily basis.

I don't do anything special after a stressful day, I just go about the afternoon/evening like any other.

Forklift broke down with a bad waterpump.

Guy tried to steal a $10 dollar wallet out of a Wal Mart Warehouse.

Pallet load trailers sky high WHILE I'm in a managers meeting away from my warehouse.

I drank like a fish after the meeting with some quality beers.

You got a purty goil. Go to the park with her or Baskin Robbins (or both) and if you aren't in a better mood by then, you are inconsolable.

I read, smoke a cigarette and drink coffee. I do this either on my back porch or in my garage depending on the weather.

If I really need to relax I just stop everything for the day/night, and either sleep or listen to music and play video games

usually both, though

Headphones and take your pick of: Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Fear Of A Blank Planet, Images and Words, Octavarium, or one of my personal favs Tal Wilkenfield's album :heart

seriously greatest way I have ever found to relax
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
