I randomly turned on the radio 3 monts ago, even though I usually never listen to it, and Build me up, break me down was playing. I couldn't believe my ears. :P

Yeah that, and the way JP glances at the camera and says "Yes, yes it is."

Can I find that video in youtube? I remember seeing it once.

I have no idea.  It's worth a try, I suppose.

RIGHT!

Gather round, kids, 'cos this is pretty cool.

Couldn't find anything on telly (Sunday afternoon - who's surprised?!) but I didn't fancy the idea of crippling silence, so I flicked over to Planet Rock, which is a... not a huge radio station, not BBC-big but it's nationwide, broadcasts to every digital radio in the UK, (as far as I'm aware) Rick Wakeman's got/had a show on it - it's pretty well known. Well enough known that I get it with my TV subscription. Requests show at the time, no biggie.

Anyway, round about 2:30pm, they play a jingle, and I go "hold up - that sounds familiar!" So, as I'm listening through the TV, I rewind.

And record it.

Through my laptop mic, so this isn't great quality, but... this is definitely Dream Theater, isn't it?

They play quite a bit of prog (hence the jingle!) but I was not expecting them in an ident on a proper national commercial station even a little bit. That's very cool.

We have a Hi-Def TV channel called Palladia which specializes in music programming, and the other day they showed Rush: Time Machine.  It finished at like 45 minutes past the hour, so they filled in the 15 minutes with videos, including "On the Backs of Angels".  Pretty cool.  I'd never see it before, didn't even realize there was a video for it.
