So-and-so's "Latest Tweet" Subject Lines
« on: May 19, 2012, 05:58:23 PM »
I hate them.  They couldn't be any more vague.

Please just put a brief summary in the subject so we have a basic idea of what tweet you are referring to.

For example:  Jordan's Latest Tweet (Fav Prog Bands)

These guys tweet multiple times a day so who the hell knows which one people are referring to unless actually opening the thread.

Not a big deal, IMO! You can learn what the thread is about by clicking it and it just takes 2-3 seconds.

Hell no. It is a big deal, IMO! Time is valuable, and any wasted time is not acceptable. I just wasted another 30+ seconds.

I still have no idea what the OP is talking about.

Interesting tweets from movie, music and TV stars I'm guessing

I was going for some over the top sarcasm. Maybe you got that, and chose to respond in your own sarcastic manner. Not sure...  :|

Actually, no, I was just oblivious.  My apologies.  Forgive me; I'm tired.

I'm talking about subject lines such as "Jordan's Latest Tweet".

Tweet about what?  What if JR tweets 5 things in a day and every discussion has that exact subject line?  Most subjects have an actual subject in them and not just a vague statement that could refer to a tweet from 10 seconds ago or a resurrected one from 10 months ago.

All I'm saying is I wish people would be a little more specific in their subjects when creating topics.

From my experience with Twitter, and following JR on twitter, he rarely tweets more than a couple comments weekly (at least during the time when I was a more active twit). With that being said, I do understand why it may annoy you. With that with that being said, being said, I suggest you :chill  It's really no big deal.

I'm chill, just an annoyance, cuz it's not just "Jordan's Latest Tweet", I see this kind of subject line in a lot of places.  Other ones like "So I went to the store" are equally annoying.

Ah, screw you guys, I'm going back to my Halestorm thread.   ;)
