Songs with a great title, and then a more "commercially acceptable" title in parentheses are stupid. "Pride" would be a great name for a song. It is a great name for a song, and he does say it in the song ("they cannot take your pride"). And it is what the song is about.
But the refrain repeats, over and over and over until you want to smash your head in with a brick, "In the naaaame of love!" so they had to include that in the title, in parentheses, because people are stupid and won't buy the single on iTunes unless they know the name of the song. Hell, for that matter, "In the Name of Love" isn't a bad title, either. Why not just call it that?
♫ Stop, in the name of love
♫ Before you break my heart
