For that, you are a horrible horrible person!

 :yeahright

Kim Wilde - Kids in America

Eh.

Rush - Subdivisions

 :hat

Show of hands, when you see the title of the song, do you hear "SUBDIVISIONS" as it is in the song?

Guilty as charged. :lol

Love the pure cheesiness of the Subdivisions video. Like I mentioned in the Rush survivor, Subdivisions is my all time favorite song by any band.

Tom Petty - Free Fallin'

I get the appeal of this song - I really do - but this is one song where his voice really annoys me, most notable during the chorus.  And those random shots in the video of his ugly face wearing those shades didn't help. :lol  In fact, it was probably the reason I often turned it off.

My favorite part of the video is how they show the blonde girl all ready to skateboard, and they make it look as if she's going to be going down this huge ramp at high speed...and then they cut away to Petty singing the song with the ramp in the background, and it's not exactly HUGE, and the girl might be moving at a snail's pace if you're charitable  :rollin

I think this thread has officially ran its course.  I'd like to thank everyone who participated in it, including those who often had good stories (Jaq, I am looking at you! :lol).  I covered I think close to 500 songs, and it was a lot of fun. :hat :hat :hat

A moment of silence for the thread where I got noticed here on DTF. It's been real.  :lol
