Working at my dad's restaurant it frightens me to see how bad some kids are working the register. Personally, I don't even use the register for change, I prefer to do it all by mental math, but I know I'm very much in the minority. I've seen kids though accidentally not be given enough, type in that amount, and when the register shows a negative change amount, return that amount to the customer in change. Terrifying.
