Wow. The Cleveland Show is absolutely terrible. I tried to watch two episodes, could only make it halfway through either.

Family Guy has gone downhill, but I still get a few laughs out of it, and I don't plan on giving up on it anytime soon.

American Dad... Should I start watching this again? I know a lot of people consider it Seth McFarlane's weakest show, but I've watched the first two seasons and loved them. Haven't seen anything since then.

I find American Dad to be a consistently fantastic show, and if anything it's only gotten better over time. If you loved the first two seasons, you won't be disappointed with the later ones. It hasn't gone downhill like Family Guy has.

I really think that the amount of hatred American Dad receives here is shocking, to say the least. American Dad is consistently good and I don't get the feeling that every subsequent episode is basically a re-hash of former ones.
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

Family Guy is still my favorite MacFarlane show, American Dad is funnier and smarter recently but for hardcore FG fans like me the addiction to the characters and their voices is now beyond seeking laughs, I've been watching at the very least one episode in bed before I sleep daily for the last 6 or so years, I'm always gonna love that show.
And Roger the alien pisses me off so much, it might be the most annoying character I ever saw on TV.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.

Nope, Brian easily wins that one. He is the only character of any show that I have boycotted episodes because of. I can't stand him anymore. Every time he opens his mouth I just want to hit him.

That's the way I feel about Roger and his voice.
I never liked Brian, not even in the earlier seasons.

Roger's voice is basically Peter Griffin, minus the retard.

We're not talking about the same Roger then Blob.
I see how it could resembles Peter's voice but with a whiney gay vibe.

Well Peter has just gotten mroe annoying anyway. In the episode where he had that cardboard cutout; what the fuck was that? He's just retarded for the sake of being retarded. No character in that show is bearable anymore. American Dad has now had 4 consistently great seasons (now in its 5th), which is a lot more than Family Guy ever had.

My thoughts exactly; that was such a waste of the first five minutes.  I have no idea why that was important.

It wasn't. To be honest, I didn't find it all that funny either. I only laughed during the initial song scene, and I thought that would be the end of it.

But the rest of the episode redeemed it. I love Jewish stereotypes. I lol'd pretty hard at "Hebrewbergmoneygrabber" :lol

See, I didn't even think the initial song scene was funny.  And the Jewish stereotypes I guess would have been funny if it hadn't been the 300th time I'd heard all of them used at once in a Family Guy episode.

So was Stewie's Jewish prayer actual Hebrew or random talk? and what was that he did to Meg where he took her heart out?

It was the actual prayer for the candles of an important holiday (marked by shel yom tov)

and the meg thing was from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

I watched a few minutes of the Cleveland Show ... and switched the channel. Not even remotely funny.

I never even understood why the hell they would go for Cleveland in the first place. The Quagmire Show, hello?!

And the sad thing is, I haven't found anyone who doesn't share this exact opinion. Cleveland never had any jokes of his own, and didn't even really work off others to create comedy. He was a fairly useless character.

This week's American Dad was decent, although not one of the better ones. I just saw the first episode of Family Guy aired (Brian's Got a Brand New Bag), and it was actually pretty decent, which I was not at all expecting considering the storyline revolved around my most hated character, Brian. Haven't watched the second one yet.

The other sad thing is that they joke about Quagmire not getting the spinoff in an episode. My least favorite main character is definitely Stewie. I think Cleavland is useless but as a main character, Stewie isn't even funny most of the time.

Second episode of Family Guy was kinda stupid. Both storylines were lame. The Cleveland Show was as unfunny as usual, but it had one or two good jokes in there. But overall I'm still not at all liking what they've done to the character of Cleveland.

Quagmire's rant to Brian this week made me a very happy man :lol
The rest of the episode was decent.

I didn't like this week's American Dad so much. It focused too much on that band, who I didn't even realize until the end of the episode is actually real, which made it even worse :|

I'm catching up with the last few weeks of all three shows.
Started with American Dad for some reason, I'm at the 5th episode of the current season, it's so freakin funny!

It's Mike Henry's character, Mike Henry's voice, Mike Henry's idea, he's the vice president of the Family Guy crew and I think Macfarlane didn't say no to him cause he needs him around to run the show while he has his "I'm so young and rich and successful yay" vacation. (I'm a huge fan of the guy FYI but I gotta admit he's slightly wacko heh)
