Tough round for me since I watch very little in the way of videos for bands.  Just going to have to take a chance on an artist I have no idea if you would like.

Holy shit you sent me one of may favorite bands  :lol ... I'm about to schedule an interview with Franck Hermanny  :lol
I think nobody's checking out my Last FM, or Spotify or facebook.. I won't get surprised if sb sends me a Dream Theater song  :rollin :rollin :rollin

but you know what... I accept your entry mister... as I did for some others... also because after this submission, you're a promising player for me... but you're getting a 4,5 although it's worth more...

now go ahead and find a charming boy rocking out....

that's fine yorost..... some rounds will be more challenging than others....

I will put the new results/rankings soon....

Oh, I'm not complaining, you're going to end up getting my favourite artist for nearly two years, now. :lol  I just had no intention of using her during this game, but I love promoting her. ::p  ...not really expecting a good score, though. :)

/Confused  :lol

here you go my dear...

New Round...

It’s actually another open round... But slightly specified... I want a video (along with the mp3 if possible) where I see me some exciting performers... I don’t mind guys or gals... I love watching good looking or passionate people on stage..for me it’s part of the experience.. you can take kari’s and floyd’s submissions as examples... or take a look at this.. I dig Einar’s passion on this video.... or give me a Daniel  or a Stu.. I think you got the idea.... don’t get me wrong tho... all those songs (bands) are gold... I am not asking for pretty-faces-only ... I want some good shit with some extra this time....
I give you 4 days... Deadline is the 3rd of March.... go.. bring me gems....

feel free to shout if this isn't clear...

I saw Adagio on your last.fm.  Are those bands off limits or do we just need to ask before submitting something from them?

Well the first three rounds are serving as a 'player selection' rounds... I am gaining a feel for 'who can give me the stuff I might dig'.. so I didn't care too much about the bands I'm aware of....

but after this round they will be off-limits... otherwise I won't get to know much new stuff

there will be a round though, that you'll be able to send me anything... as long as they are prog or metal... or preferably both.. or in a perfect world, prog-power metal

that would truly be my heaven....

I was planning to declare that theme tonite to give you some more time to think about it.... but people are already confused about my style.... so I'll will keep it to a more reasonable pace....

I'm happy to explain again and again.. as long as you want to make it back to the game :)

here's the deal:  you'll be back in the game when you impress me with a song.... you're not tied to any theme or genre... free as a bird... I'll give you 3 silver pennies (and maybe some extra depending on the level of satisfaction) for each round that you missed... or in other words... there's miracle for each day that you try...  there's a new love  that's born for each one that has died   ;D

so anyways... the earlier the better... but of course when you're ready...

otherwise the only way back is giving me the belly-dance performance

Now guys.... here are some hints for this round:

I'm not looking for a 'fun' video... I specify this only because I received a PM from a player who read it that way... well some of you guys know me better than the others... but I'm not into fun/happy songs... the only happy/uplifting song I can come up with is Don't Stop me Now by Queen

there's a reason for that... they're just not for me...

if you are confident with your fun video, by all means send it to me.. you can even make extra pennies for accepting the challenge.... but be aware of the risk involved....  and just don't think that's what I'm looking for...

if you take a closer look at the videos I gave as examples, you can see the common grounds...

I want my bands to enjoy themselves on stage... and not to look like a joke like on this one...  :lol  I mean seriously.. I love Journey and this song is a masterpiece.. but when I saw the video I was devastated.... one of my fave songs was long gone.... if you see what I mean....

I get impressed when I see the musicians confident as hell of their stuff.... and again when enjoy themselves...

sometimes their beauty gets me impressed... (given the fact that tune is one for me of course) .. I mean check this chick out... f*cking hell man.... this can get any guy to his knees.... even me  ;D

That Journey one was sheer brilliance.  Mullets, white pants, Magnum PI-like mustache, tank tops, jean jackets ... c'mon, what more could you want from an 80s music video!!!!

lol-worthy

Edit ... not to mention the tight pants showing off how Perry is hung like a Shetland pony.

The funny thing is, Chain Reaction, from the same album, might actually be a worse video.  It's certainly creepier.

I was 15 when that came out and my parents went out late on a Saturday night and my brother was at a friends house.  So I'm using my dad's Beta Max (Video tape recorder before VHS tapes) to tape a live concert.

So I didn't realize you can't change the station when you were recording and it was recording all the channels I was watching so I went to Cinemax (Or how it was called for many generations Skinemax :lol) and was watching soft porn.

Weeks later I watched the tape only to realize what had happened and luckily, I didn't put that tape on with my parents watching. :lol

Edit:  Nem, can it be a live song or studio?
