Notes: During the show, some guy continued to heckle James so during Surrounded, James jumped off the stage to confront the guy. Mike ended up singing the ending of Surrounded. After Ytsejam, James still had not made it back to the stage, so the band kicked into an improv jam and then played Barfbag to give James some more time.

Music in Progress - 2nd European Leg
11/28/1993 Edinburgh, Scotland

(previous show) (return to list of shows) (next show)

Venue: Queen's Hall
Other Act(s): Damn the Machine opened

Set List:
1. Metropolis Part I/
2. Mission: Impossible/
3. Afterlife
4. Under a Glass Moon
5. Wait for Sleep/
6. Surrounded
7. Ytsejam (w/ drum solo including samples)

11. Barfbag
12. Another Day
13. Only a Matter of Time/
14. March of the Tyrant (outro only)
15. Pull Me Under
~~~encore~~~
16. Eve
Twin Peaks (outro tape)
Vocals: James LaBrie
Guitar: John Petrucci
Keyboards: Kevin Moore
Bass: John Myung
Drums: Mike Portnoy
Notes: Being that this was the last I&W show, Damn the Machine hired a stripper who went out on stage during Wait for Sleep, and did her thing. Damn the Machine also did such things as throwing garbage from the balcony out on to the band and other end-of-tour hijinx. At this show, James threw his voice out really bad, so they didn't play Learning to Live for the encore. The fact that they ended this show with Eve (pretty much Kevin's song) is ironic since this was the last Dream Theater show with Kevin (although no one realized this at the time).
