Using "Score" in my lesson plan
« on: January 30, 2012, 08:41:07 AM »
So yeah, I haven't done this in a few years, but this year, I'm doing the instrument families with my 4th graders, and as a review I'm totally showing them the beginning of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence from Score, as well as the beginning of Metropolis.  This way they can see all the instruments in action up close being played.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

Wow! I knew you were a music teacher, I'm one too, got my diploma last year, and I'm actually working one day in the week now on a primary school, very cool to do. I used a Jordan Rudess solo album song to show 11 year olds what you can actually do with a keyboard!

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.
