The Giants pitching has exceeded all expectations.  Their defense has been great.  Their hitting... well, they came into Game 1 still hot from the Cardinals series and scored eight runs against Detroit's best, which was definitely not expected.  Since then, they've only scored two runs per game, which normally is not enough to beat Detroit, but dammit, Detroit keeps fucking forgetting to show up and play, so it's been good enough to win, and that's all that counts.  I'm sure Giants fan are fine with that.  Sure, you'd like a little competition, but you take the win.

Also, Miggy's not the MVP; he's the Triple Crown winner.  Speaking of which, we checked out a new Dim Sum place the other day, the Triple Crown, and it was pretty good.  Standards are served Hong Kong style, but you can order off the menu if you have certain things in mind.  Check out the Har Gow.

While it's nice to finally see my team make the series twice in six years, it's exhausting watching them not show up when they get there.
