My sister and her boyfriend have recently bought their first house together, and considering it's got four bedrooms, it was pretty damn cheap. But it was only cheap because they bought it from an old man whose been in a home for...quite some time, and, as such, the house is in a bit of a bad way. As in, it looks very, very tacky. And old, and everything is rotted.
Now, my Nanna has been helping them get the house straight for moving in, and has invited everyone round to come help out and strip off the wallpaper.
Thing is, she told everyone, at the pub that she owns, that we're having a strip party.
Yup.
But she's not the only 'old' person who doesn't quite understand what they're saying, for example, my Grandma started talking about cunts to me and my older sister- Apparently, that's slang around her parts for something.
So, have you had any old people tell you anything particularly interesting?
P.S- My sister told me that they've found lots of gay/bondage magazines in the old man's house. Apparently he was also into theatre so she said I should look through his stuff. I'm not too keen on the idea myself.
