A Tragic End
« on: January 02, 2012, 08:32:29 PM »
An old childhood friend of mine whom I haven't seen in a long time was killed on New Years Eve. I knew him from my old preschool in Tuscon, AZ. I unfortunately never managed to personally get in touch with him after my family moved from Tuscon. His name was Carlos Sandoval. He was a warm-hearted individual and from what I gather was accepted into Harvard. I'm not posting this for pity, but simply to stress to all that you must embrace and treasure life because death is fickle, pitiless and unpredictable. Poor guy. He was too young and too kind to go out like that.

I'm really sorry to hear that. PM me if you ever need someone to talk to since I'm on here much of the time and hate to see anyone going through a hard time not have someone to help 'em through it.

You can't really feel such a tragedy until you close your eyes and imagine it could have went the same exact way with you at any point and picture your family after that. Chokes you up.
I hope his family survive this loss and find peace and justice.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.

I hate hearing about pointless deaths like this, it just frustrates me to no end that a good kid like this is just taken out in a flash for no good reason.  My sympathies to his family, and to you.
