Yeah, St Elsewhere is great, really unique. Fun, great beats, bizarre, creepy, kind of depressing, all at the same time.

The Odd Couple tried to be all of that again, and ended up being pretty much none of it. Neighbors was the best song by a mile.

I do enjoy Charity Case, but I don't think I've ever made it past track three, and almost four years later I still haven't tried.
Hire me. I'm talentless but malleable.

New OSI!
That's the big one for me.

YES! I so, so excite over this.

Also: Storm Corrosion, TOOL posting an update of another year till the release, Porcupine Tree giving some kind of update, and BTBAM finalizing their already epic Parallax story.

All of you guys saying Tool make me lol.

No kidding. Big disappointments for some. I expect absolutely nothing from these guys let alone a release. Granted, I hope dearly that I'm wrong but... Not holding my breath (HAHA WTF AM I A FISHY!?!?). Almost the same for PT given what Wilson has said regarding the band. I'm expecting updates but no releases.

DTP says "WOW, LOOK AT THAT GREAT POST"
RIP DTP.

Gnarls Barkley,
Wow, really? That could be interesting. I thought their second album was a dud though.

I haven't really listened to their albums from beginning to end a lot, but there are definitely songs on both albums that I really love.

HOLY FUCK YOU GUYS. HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT NEW MARS VOLTA!?! (Whatever the emoticon for that guy running a circle is, that's how I'm feeling about this).

New Gojira has got me pretty excited, with any luck we should get two releases, the album and the Sea Shepard EP. Not an album release, but also really looking forward to the Devin Townsend Project live Blu-Rays being released. But above all others the album I'm looking forward to most in 2012 is

Black Gives Way To Blue was one of my favorites in 2009, so I can't wait to hear new material from Alice In Chains.  :metal

Anathema, Paradise Lost, Sonata Arctica, Katatonia... if all these albums are killer, this year could be album-wise even better than 2011! :metal

After learning to listen to Grace for Drowning, and totally loving Heritage, Storm Corrosion is the one I'm looking for the most I think.

Together with Sigur Ros and Meshuggah, I think.

Then Muse, Porcupine Tree, Devin Townsend, The Flower Kings and Flying Colours.

Nihil-Morari is generally considered the resident Zappa person.

Looking forward to Storm Corrosion, of course!
Also Rodrigo y Gabriela have a new album coming out in January so hopefully that'll be as incredible as usual.
Muse will be interesting. In recent interviews they talk about how the first stage of their careers is over and it looks like they could so something completely different.
I didn't even know Sigur Rós were planning a new album! I've only just got Inni. Great news.
The XX will be also one to look forward to.

Hopefully Porcupine Tree will give out some good news in the future...

Rush, Anathema, Spock's Beard, Flying Colors, Storm Corrosion, Comus, Joe Bonamassa, Astra, Gazpacho, District 97, Mars Hollow, Mars Volta

I'm sure there's a ton more. Hopefully 2012 will be as good as 2011.

I thought Porcupine Tree was unlikely for 2012 because Steven Wilson was suddenly obsessed with his solo career.

Seems like yesterday I was writing my anticipation list for 2011, but here we go:

Metallica - 10th album (?)
Nightwish - Imaginaerum (Should've been released LAST year!)
Tool - 5th album (?)
U2 - Songs Of Ascent (?)
Rush - Clockwork Angels
Down - 4th album
Killswitch Engage - 6th album

....and I'm sure there's more, but that's good for now.
