A Windows 7 question
« on: December 25, 2011, 11:36:24 AM »
I have the problem that every time there's media files in a folder, Explorer switches to (to me) useless folder info, such as "Contributing Artist". All of those fields are empty because I recorded the stuff in there myself, but the usual tabs (e.g. creation date) are gone. So, I can't even sort the files by date!
Anybody know how to convince Windows 7 to treat media files like any other file?

Option 1: Right click the column headers and choose the info you would like to display.

Option 2: Right click the folder and under the customize tab, choose the "General Items" folder template.
