I don't really watch Western TV so I guess my list will encompass the only shows I actually watched this year:

Game of Thrones
How I Met Your Mother
Penn & Teller Tell A Lie

My list would be much bigger if it included anime but that's got a thread of its own :D

...my name is Araragi.

Received a few seasons of The West Wing for Christmas, and have been rewatching over the past few days.

Good times. Man I love this show.

On season 3 now, and fuck me in the asshole this show is pure gold.

Just watched the entire first season of The Office with my parents.  Wasn't sure how'd they like it, but they both loved it.

How have I not discovered this until now? Watching LOST reruns (and promptly switching them off...they really don't have much replayability imo) and waiting until I'm back at school so I can watch The Big Bang Theory with my girlfriend.

Started season 3 of Arrested Development the other day.

So far, I'm not enjoying it as much as the first two.

Louie has to be my favorite show right now.  I don't suspect it will ever beat The Office.  But the first season of Louie blew my mind with how funny it was.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. Yeah.  They're filling season 3 up with a lot more villains, and while that made me a bit apprehensive, the premiere was very good.

Anyone watch Portlandia? I watched the first episode not knowing what it was about and it was really...weird. Kinda funny though.

Portlandia is hilarious. Fred Armisen is definitely one of my favorite comedians at the moment. There's only 6 episodes in the first season and three in the second (so far) if you count tonight's episode. I definitely recommend that you keep watching.

Watched the first season of Louie. I really liked it. Now I MIGHT just watch an episode of Dexter today. I think the reason I've been putting it off for so long and driving my brother nuts about not watching it is because he's hyped it up so much that I'm afraid I wont like it. We'll see.

I hate Dexter so much. So very much... It's everything I abhor about most television series. Anyway...

Watching Justified. I'm about to finish up the second season and just as I figured, it's slowly going to shit with a mundane, boring romance aspect. If he'd just keep on shooting motherfuckers and getting drunk the show would be badass. But y'know, fucking women.

ed: er...just finished the second to last episode. Nevermind!  :lol Here's hoping there's more blood... Rawr.

Portlandia is pretty funny. They sometimes drag jokes out waaaaay too much, but usually it's pretty entertaining.

Oh and I just watched all of Party Down over three days. Is there going to be a 3rd season? I hope so!

Man, I've been wishing for that third season since it was cancelled but there's no coming back from that. The cast seemed to have moved on and aside from the heartwarming Children's Hospital shtick, I doubt we'll ever see the crew again. Which is so god damn sad cause those two seasons are probably my most watched comedy television series despite a mere twenty episodes. Such an amazing series cut waaaay too short.

Considering its viewers by the end of the second season were in the tens of thousands, there is not going to be another season.
