So many on the new album

"These suffocating mammaries are etched upon my mind"
"You're digging up a coal mine"
"Shit your light on me"
"I am finding courage in my darkest owl"
"With clarity on the horizon"
"The river's curry slowly turns the stone"
"We cry with heavy hand"
"March for the kingdom"
"No more embrace"

Enunciate, damnit, LaBrie!  :lol

Suffocating man-breeze.

Wow, I was sure those two were legit:
Funny you chose that part, JP's little flutter under "clarity on the horizon" is one of my favorite bits and stood out even during the first listen.
:lol

Sycsa is perhaps the most brilliant and insightful man I have ever encountered.

Are you suggesting that James should express his bowels and consonance more emphatically?   :coolio

"Clarity on the horizon" actually sounds like it could even be a real piece of lyric. I always thought that was the real thing to be honest  :lol

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the lyrics in the liner notes go like this:

Through the gift of surrender
I'm embracing the fight
Breaking the code
There's clarity on the horizon

That's STILL what I hear every time. I have to forcibly remind myself that it's "immortal" on every listen.

6:00 --

"...And nobody knows what they want. Till they finally let it all go"
"...And nobody knows what they want. Till they find the little girl"

In fairness, I never thought that's what he said, it's just what I hear when I listen to it.

Not focused listening....
1.
When there it's violets
Tonight is a wank
But if they are too soft then
There dies the silence, man

Or

2.
I stare as cool as eel

There are many more indeed - you already picked up most of them

Even song titles might be misleading
What about
I mind b-side itself

In BTV the "Please don't walk away" sounds like "Please don't find a way".
When I first heard it, I was like - Waaatt?

"You are caught up in Monopoly..."

Later still...

Haha - I'd heard of those guys but never bothered to check em out.

That song Miracles might just be the only rap/hip hop song I've ever liked.  ;D  :P  Thanks Grizz :tup

I just have a doubt about one word on the latest album that I'm almost sure it's mistyped: on TBP, the part "Better to try and fail then to never try at all".. Leaving aside the fact that James doesn't seem to sing that final "at all" (an "oh, oh" is all I hear), my doubt it's about that "then"... It's not supposed to be "than" instead?

At least it's not completely butchered like Stargazer (at least on my edition of Rising)
