I dont know if this one has been mentioned yet:
"He fell into an emo way, she had to let him down" - Beyond this Life

I have always heard it this way! It was a long time before I read the lyrics.

 Just Let Me Breathe

Let's not forget my legacy
All my heroes have failed me
Now they're dead and buried, yeah

I thought was:

Let's not forget my lawyer said
No more hell to beg me
No more dirty memories, yeah

Although I've listened to Octavarium about ten billion times already, I still can't remember the Intervals lyrics. Just heard this:

Innocent victims of merciless crimes
Fall greatest of madmen's of poster designs

Instead of

Innocent victims of merciless crimes
Fall prey to some madmen's impulsive designs

That's seriously weird to say the least :lol

I for one would be interested in seeing some madmen's poster designs.

First line of the second verse of The Enemy Inside:
"I sever myself from the world, I shut down Houdini."
It's the only thing I've ever heard and I still don't know what the real lyrics are.

Medicate:

"A higher dose of Jesus Christ!"

rather than

"A higher dosage he prescribes!"

I remember I always heard it as "A higher dose of cheap prescribes" - it's not even grammatically correct and I have no idea why I heard it that way :lol

From The Bigger Picture: "Another shitbreak's washed ashore"
Original: "Another shipwreck’s washed ashore"

Hilarious. Cannot unhear it :)

Behind The Veil, this has somehow been looping in my head...

"Bake me, wake me, bring me home tonight"

And from The Looking Glass:

How it really went:

You live without shame
You’re digging up a gold mine
Standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass

How I think it went:

You live without shame
You're digging up a coma
Standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass

This has probably been mentioned before but in Bridges In The Sky I always hear "Son, cumshot my way" instead of "Sun, come shine my way"

Now I can't unhear "digging up a coal mine" in The Looking Glass :lol

Yeah, it's a classic :D I also hear the following line as "May killing water's bear eat all my pain" and someone else has mentioned hearing "The pizza meat that died" at the end of the chorus.

I was singing that before I had access to the lyrics so same here, it'll always be a coal mine to me.
