Great call on Styx.  I remember the Behind the Music on them.  Tommy Shaw is talking about a major music festival they headlined, where they followed non other than Triumph with trying to do a stage show of Kilroy was Here.

Yeah, Tommy left the band for a while, made some half-decent rock and roll with Ted Nugent in Damn Yankees, then eventually Styx did the reunion thing, and as far as I can tell, that's when they realized that they just couldn't work together anymore, because that lineup never did a studio follow-up, did they?  Next I knew, Dennis was out for good, and Tommy and James carried on.

They did but it was a disjointed album.

Only the Tommy Shaw and JY songs are worth while.  After they moves on without DeYoung and Got Lawrence Gowan to replace him (Great, Great Singer/Keyboard player/showman)  They made this album  and I say if you don't have it get it.  It's very good.

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down'.” - Bob Newhart

No, seriously. Somebody on DTF loves Lonely Day. I just can't remember who it is.

Unless it is you and you were saying that sarcastically.

Interesting.  I just checked, and I actually have Brave New World, but not Cyclorama.  I thought it was the other way around, because I remember the giant carrot.  I may have it around here somewhere.  Brave New World must not have made much of an impression if I didn't remember them making it or me listening to it.

Anyway, thanks for the update.
