Don't feel bad, my 25 year old listens to hip-hop and gansta rap, that's it.  Not that there's anything wrong with those, but that's ALL he listens to.   ::)

The weirdest part is he's a COP and he LOVES hard-core gansta rap  :lol

My son is 19 and listens to Avenged Sevenfold and a lot of other metal bands, but seems drawn to those with a bit more substance to them.  I know he's heard plenty of Dream Theater, as it was on in the car quite a bit when I'd pick him up from school or whatever, but it's always baffled me that he never really listens to them.  Maybe because it's "Dad music" to him.

There is a DT Granny, but I don't recall that she ever actually posted on the forum.  I mostly remember hearing about her showing up at shows.  She was pretty old even back then though... I wonder if she's even still alive...
