NICK FIXED IT. (THANKS A BUNCH DUDE) FEEL FREE TO VOTE NOW.

Well folks, the results are in for round one of WHO'S THE BEST THEM?!?!? 2011 edition round 1. They've been in for four days too so I apologize for the delay but it can take a few hours to organize the results for a poll of this scale when you're as computer unsavvy as I unfortunately am.

Special thanks go out to the following members for their help in the early goings of this tournament:

obscure: Helped send out a shitload of PMs to make sure folks didn't miss out on this tournament on account of my barely-justified procrastination. You are infinitely awesome.

Metal: Same thing as obscure. Thanks dude.

Riceball: He knows how to use Excel better than me and saved me a shitload of time with the tabulation of round 1's results. Thanks guy, I'll never make another Vegemite joke again.

Don't forget the "The"s: Some bands have "The" as a first word so don't forget to look there in case you don't see a certain band you're looking for.

Also, you can fix a fucked up vote: If you vote for the wrong band by accident, simply scroll to the bottom of the list of bands and click on the "REMOVE VOTE" button and you can recast your vote the way you meant to.

Oh sweet jesus!!! I exceeded the 20000-character limit for a post and when I broke the OP into two separate posts, it apparently fucked up and reset the options to only allow people to vote for one band instead of three. I took over five hours making sure this thing was completely accurate!!!!

WHY GOD WHY?!?!?!?!?!?

EDIT: It's all good now. Nick kindly took care of this matter and my blood pressure is now back to normal levels

Love ya too wolfy but I blame this on the forum's software. Why the fuck would something be designed to default all options merely because the post was too long? As if the fact that the length of the post suddenly changes every aspect you had chosen for the poll. Regardless, unless someone can help me with this, it may be a few more days before I can fix this since I have to go to bed now since it's 6 in the morning where I am and I won't even be at my computer until I get off tomorrow night which may not be until 2 in the morning. On top of that, Thursday is my mom's birthday and Thanksgiving, Friday has an extremely important game for my beloved LSU Tigers whom have been ranked #1 for 9 weeks solid and I work another night shift on Saturday followed by Sunday where I have NFL Sunday Ticket with DirecTV (you can watch 11 to 13 NFL games over the course of a 6-hour span) and the Saints are playing on Monday Night Football.

I'll try my best but please be patient y'all.

I sent you a PM about this but I'll type it here too just in case you come here before seeing the PM. I still need the results to remain hidden until the conclusion of the round in order to maintain consistency in the poll's format for each round. I listed my reasons for hiding the results in last round's OP in case you're curious about why I'm doing that.

Also, I need the option for people to be able to change their votes enabled since there usually is at least one person that accidentally votes for the wrong band each round and that compromises the accuracy of this thing if some bands are picking up votes that were meant for other bands.

I agree with your redundancy angle but this is merely following the format set forth from the start. Had I used my brain, I'd have done it a little differently. This will obviously be the only round where that's even possible to happen and it only adds another three or four days to what will be about a one-month-long tournament. Beyond that, unless the exact same group of 160 people vote again the results will not be identical.
