I checked the Elder Scrolls wiki and apparently either of them count. Saviour's Hide and Hircine's ring are still Daedric artefacts, whereas alternative rewards such as the Rueful Axe aren't, they're just heavily enchanted.

If you don't kill Erandur for the Skull of Corruption during Waking Nightmare (the Vaermina Daedric quest in Dawnstar), you have to get Hircine's Ring AND the Saviour's Hide for the Oblivion Walker achievement.

But... Erandur is a BAD ASS follower.

Edit: Oops... just noticed that you HAVE the Skull/Staff of Corruption.

Did you get every artifact as a reward of their respective quests (you didn't use console commands etc)?

Yeah, I've read about a glitch you can perform that lets you get both artefacts in case you miss one of them.

Nope, no console commands, finished the quests to a T.

That's just plain weird. Maybe it's a bug. Do you still have a save where you only have 14 artifacts and still have to get the last one? Maybe trying again works, or just holding on to that save till you can figure out what went wrong.

Edit: Tried reloading and doing the last quest (The Cursed Tribe) again, to no avail. Guess I'll just have to wait until my next play through!

I just wanna say one thing: I love Skyrim!

The music, the lore, the landscape, the freedom, the quests, the cities, the forests, the mountains, the people, the fauna, the caves, the exploration and pure epicness is what makes Skyrim such an awesome game and i love that there are game studios that make games like this, i really really do.

I wholeheartedly agree, Boom - do you have the soundtrack? If not, you should get it post haste. It's as awesome as the game, cause it's the music FROM the game.

Yea i have for a while wanted to get the OST but i'm a bit hesitant because i don't want to over listen to the songs when i'm not in the game. I'm a bit afraid of losing the "magic" in the game you know. Yea i know....i'm a bit nerdy about things like that.

A handful. I try not to get far away from lore and the original intent. The only thing I couldn't live without are the mods that enable the keyboard and add 30 or so extra hotkeys--invaluable. Others are all convenience type stuff: better item sorting, better map, quest awareness (denotes if an unexplored location is associated with a quest so you don't explore it prematurely), unread books glow and a tent/bed roll for camping.

I only use steam mods without the Skyrim Script Extender, i'm a bit n00b and lazy to install that.

From those i have i highly recommend:

Water and Terrain Enc.
Lush Trees and Grass
and especially Vibrant Auroras

the others are more for fun.

Nice one, I tend to use the HD set from Bethesda and the Lush Grass and trees one (although, there isn't that much of a difference. I think I'll use the stones of Barenziah quest markers though!

Yea, i usually avoid cheats but i have a desperate thing for finishing quests so i tried my best with that one but man that is a BIG one and yea.......

There's a cheat for that?! I only have two more to get though - the Elder Scrolls wiki has all of the locations, so I'm trying to remember which ones I've been to.

I'm only rolling with the HD texture pack at present.

Basically, mods that make the world seem a little richer, a little more in depth, or make my characters look a little more naturally beautiful. I haven't downloaded any extreme body mods because I wont inflict a huge chest on my characters. I'm pretty sure that there's no such thing as sports bras in Skyrim and the pain of jogging- let alone fighting- without a sports bra and a large chest is something that I do not want to inflict on my characters.

It works fine without Skyrim Script Extender, you just have a message stuck at the top of your screen when you go into your inventory

I looked into SKYUI and decided against it. I like the expanding method the stock UI uses over the simple list/filter scheme of SKYUI. Especially using a 360 controller. Seems like SKYUI is really only better for a mouse/KB player. The problem is that the stock UI doesn't sort thing worth a damn, which the better sorting mod takes care of. All it does is rename items so that they'll group properly. Ebony arrows and steel arrows become arrows, ebony and arrows, steel. Same with potions, soul gems, ingots, or anything else that should sort alphabetically but won't. Huge improvement.
