took me a while to notice it, but I finally saw that the game keeps track of how many rabbits you kill in-game, under the "Bunnies Slaughtered" heading 


needless to say I began to kill as many as I could find

No, just bang out iron daggers like it's your job and you'll level up in no time. Plus being able to craft Dragon and Daedric armor is amazing.

I've been playing this game for quite a while now. I'm now busy playing my 3rd character, an Argonian 2h/heavy armor/restoration/alteration guy. He's really fun. My first 2 characters were a Wood Elf sneak archer (played him til lvl 45) and a Dark Elf destruction/conjuration/illusion mage (lvl39), which is broken because I leveled my enchanting to 100 and he has armor that reduces destruction spell costs to a mere 5%....

That's cool.  My system of play is working out for me as well, I would just rather be playing instead of being "responsible adult person".

So I'm up to Level 13 and finally bought the house in Whiterun.  Having a safe place to store my collected stuff rocks.

Do it--the house in Whiterun is 5000 gold unfurnished, and about... 7000 gold fully furnished.  Quite the bargain IMO.  It's just collecting all of the gold needed to get it....

I think I'm close to having what I need, and if I don't I'll explore a cave or two, as I'm currently just leveling up in before an eventually meeting with Alduin.

I keep getting sidetracked by all of the side quests and clearing dungeons--I'm about to finish up the Diplomatic Immunity quest.  Just need to get a frickin Frost Troll out of the way of the dang exit GAH.

Frost trolls are such assclowns. Best one I ever faced was in a bit of a canyon surrounded by rock walls 90% of the way around. It was awesome, I'd hit him with two arrows, he'd run, I'd follow along the top and fire again. Repeat about 4 times and dead.

The home in whiteun is so useful, I store all of my treasures there and i'm too lazy to sell it to merchants because they run out of cash so fast.  I have so much in one of the chests that the game takes about 8 seconds to withdraw and deposit things from it.

Did you get it while playing skyrim? lag? How many hours in? It seems a lot of people on the Skyrim forums have had the game brick their PS3s.

120 hours or so. I always had lag issues. I paused Skyrim to go take a poo, I come back and my tv displays 'no signal'. I knew this day was coming though, it has been overheating for at least a year now. RDR would crank the fan speeds up to full within minutes, and GTA IV would do the same thing, as well as freeze the game.
