Apparently the terrain for the rest of Tamriel is already modeled into the game: https://ppsh-41.tumblr.com/post/13145143504/entire-tamriel-landmass-built-into-skyrim

:O

That's pretty awesome. My buddy said that he read there will be close to 100 dollars worth of DLC for this game... this might explain it.

I DOUBT it! Todd Howard said that they don't want to do the same thing they did with Fallout 3, release 5 DLCs with only 2 of them being great, they want less DLCs with better content.

Well, poo.

Looked at a thread on the forums and apparently there's an area of the game where you can see those places in the distance. There's also a quest where you're lifted into the air or something and can see them. So it's possible they were just put in to be nice easter eggs for people who looked.

I still don't own the game yet, though, so this could be wrong.

I forgot to mention that he read it will only be in 2 parts. Maybe they are concentrating their efforts.

I really hope they open up an entire province or two for the DLCs. That would be beyond awesome (especially for someone like me whose first TES game I played is Skyrim).

That happened to me too! But I pumped him full of arrows and then took his mask.

EDIT: Anybody has done the White Phial/Repairing the White Phial quests?? I want to know if it glitched to other people! It is on mine, the game doesn't recognize that I have two briar hearts on mu inventory!

Do you have exactly 2, or do you have some extra?  I had one quest where I needed 3 amethysts, and I had 6 on me, and it didn't register as complete until I stored 3 of them away.

Well, I had one before I took on the quest, the quest asks for one and it didn't registered that I already had it, so I just went and took another just in case it would registered then. And I can't store them because they're "quest item".

Here's a cool camera tweak that gives you over-the-shoulder combat view (rather than centered view).  It makes third-person combat much better.  Just add it to your Skyrim.ini located in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim.

[Camera]
fOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000
fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=12.0000
fOverShoulderCombatPosX=30.2000
fOverShoulderPosZ=12.0000
fOverShoulderPosX=30.2000

Just like every role-playing game I ever play, I always end up doing narrations for my character in my head as I quest, travel, etc. I almost always sit down to eat food or read books (if chairs are available), I wear specific armor for different purposes, I never wear my helmet unless in combat and the list goes on.

Hi my name is Alex and I'm still single, ladies.

I don't really like how Lycanthropy is handled. Like, it's totally badass, but the fact that it's completely under your control is pretty lame. I'd much rather see it happen somewhat occasionally and out of your control, which serious repercussions if you don't go on a murderous rampage when you do turn. Being a werewolf should be a goddamn curse, not a more graphic version of fucking Twilight.

Lycanthropy seems kinda disappointing to me. I almost never use it. I'm gonna go ahead and cure myself of it, actually.

I use Lycanthropy for going to places I haven't been that are sorta far from the nearest destination I've been. The werewolf's sprint is faster than a horse, so it works nicely.

So I led the rebellion and helped the jarl become the new king. As soon as he is done he speech of course I had to do this to his best men and try to start a new rebellion myself!

Nope, they don't count against your normal self since they can't recognize you.  However, if you are seen transforming to or from "beast mode" there's a 1000 bounty.

So there I am, single-handedly taking down a blood dragon with my arrows, when low and behold a Winterhold guard walks right in front of me as I'm firing and gets belted in the head.  40 septim bounty and the guards start attacking me as well.  I died, and when I reloaded the dragon was gone.  Dumbfuck guards...

Just took out a blood dragon mostly on my own. Lydia got lost on the way or something. Showed up at the last minute and helped take down the last bit of health. Easily could have managed it on my own, though. It was annoying at first though. It just flew through the woods attacking random animals it found.
