So. I really want this game. But of course, my PC is too old, and I don't have a 360 OR a PS3 (FML!). I do, however, have a macbook pro that can run it no problem, but I need a copy of Windows to install using bootcamp. Any good ways to get a copy of Windows for cheap?

So, i have the amulet of Mara which allows charcters to ask to marry you, and a guy called Beron asked my character, also a guy, to marry him.

Man the shit you can get into is whacky. Ran into some asshole at his cottage and then a dragon showed up and they were fighting each other instead of me, with the mage repeatedly going after my horse, all the while a sabre tooth tiger is chasing me around.

I'm not much of an RPG guy, but it didn't take me long at all to have fun in ES.

Breton and High Elf get the most 'magical bonusi' I believe. At least they used to, I'm not sure how much changed since Oblivion, but they were the best then.

The Dwarven Ruins were one of my favorite parts of Morrowind. I'm glad they brought them back.

So far, the dungeons I've been in have shown a lot more diversity than Oblivion's so far but there seem to be far less of them. Which is okay, but it seemed like I was running into random locations all the time in Oblivion. Just an observation so far.

I'm actually glad there's less dungeons/they're more spread out than Oblivion, it always felt really cramped.

And totally agreed about the Dwemer ruins, they were always my favorite part of Morrowind as well.


Also, I'm absolutely loving the changes to the magic system. They actually gave mages a reason to wear robes, and all the spells are great. The ward spells especially work so well - dual wielding ward and blocking a dragon's flame with it = total badassery. My only real complaint is that they got rid of the open lock spell

Haven't read the thread but I just got this on PC and wow, what a waste of money, runs like complete horseshit on my more than capable PC, whether settings are maxed out or at minimum I can't get past 20FPS, my laptop however for no apparent reason runs it a lot better (I get all of 28 FPS).

I've messed with the ini, I've changed drivers countless times, I've even went as far as switching out video cards, nothing.

Why release a port that barely runs and is broken, Bethesda can eat my ass.

Huh? It runs on ultra perfectly on my only decent setup.

Also, if you haven't already, check the 'disable xbox 360 controller' option, apparently it's a massive FPS drain for whatever stupid reason.

Such a good game, but I must admit that every couple hours of gameplay, I simply have to put the thing down and either leave it for a while or put in FIFA.
