The entire quest line is awesome. However, it felt shorter to me compared to Oblivion

It's glitched for me too. Heimskr (or whatever his name is) is supposed to be in a certain cave, the market is pointing to a giant camp, and he isn't at either place. I guess I'll just have to wait for a patch or something.

For console or PC? Because I've heard Bethesda has a tendency to not glitch test their PS3 versions of things. And then not patch and just fix it with the GotY edition. Something about some beef with Sony or something. I dunno, might have just been some hearsay.

Really? IIRC the PS3 version is usually the least glitched. It at least didn't have that horrible Clavicus Vile glitch in Oblivion.

I was able to fix it with console commands. It sucks, because White Run is kind of messed up now. Oh well, I wanted to finish the questline. No spoilers, but to me, it wasn't worth it.

I ended up turning off my xbox before I selected new game so I could get to sleep at a decent hour tonight. I only have a single class tomorrow, so my world will end then. I'm just delaying the inevitable, apparently.

However, my roommate has the game for PC and he's been on it since very early this morning. He's going on 17 hours in a row right now. Crazy.

I walked out of the tavern in Ivarstead and 3 hired thugs jumped me.  Managed to kill them and found out the Blood-Bounds sent them.  Guess who's getting an axe in their head my next trip to Whiterun...

Also found a NPC named Temba Wide-Arms.  Now to find Darmok...

Looks like it's one of the rarest ingredients in the game.  Try doing some of the Daedric quests (like The Black Star) to get access to some.  There are 2 in the Nightcaller Temple, located just southeast of  Dawnstar.

It's not a hard number, but they say most people will max out around 50, with a "mathematical cap" in the 70s.  They also say that you level faster, so it's about the same amount of time needed as in Fallout or Oblivion.

Well, it's a making off DVD, but I haven't looked at it yet. I imagine it will contain spoilers, so I will hold off of it for a while.

Been playing this for an hour or so, cool game!
I'm at the first town (Riverwood), I've sold some items and things like that, what can I buy for gold?
Will probably go to the next town soon, but I feel like I might "miss out" on things here, so I'll probably explore the town a bit more, if there are any good things to do that is.

Guess from now on I'll just make my companion carry them all! On that note, the first time I gave my buddy some stuff to hold on to, I decided I would hold on to his 500 Gold for him, and was greatly amused and surprised when he had no problem with that.
