Heart Heeler is pretty good. The only thing I don't like about the album is the overuse of a certain melody (vocal phrasing), which being a concept album could be on purpose, but just sounds repetitive and uncreative.

Wow. I'm genuinely surprised they didn't try to rhyme "fire" with "desire" (and "together" with "forever") so I've got a few more stanzas for them:

2. That sounds like a fake song. Like something you'd see in a movie with someone making the most cliche 80s love ballad they could think of.

Anywho, based on the last few posts, I took a look at the lyric video and not listen to the music and I'm reading these lyrics and I go, "Yeah, buddy.  She's not going to want you.  Too bad.  Life happens."

Ya know; I listen to Kiss and Van Halen, and Scorpions, so clearly lyrics don't ALWAYS carry a ton of weight with me.  But for AOR, lyrics matter and I listened to that, and all I could picture is a SNL skit.  I don't mind dumb lyrics, but when they patently make no sense - "Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak... somewhere in this town!" - it's so hard for me to get past.   That song is a walking restraining order, FFS.
